What you can expect when staying at Sherwood Inn during the COVID-19 Pandemic

We encourage all guests to respect and follow all provincial COVID-19 measures. We ask for your patience if certain resort facilities or activities are unavailable due to reduced capacities or other regulatory pandemic restrictions. Thank you in advance for your commitment to do your part, with our team, to keep us all safe in a considerate manner.

  • Masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces, for employees, members, guests and visitors.

  • You should expect the resort experience to be adjusted frequently in consideration with the most up-to-date provincial government regulations and public health authority recommendations. 

Sherwood App

  • Guests can download the Sherwood App here.

  • Our App will give access to contactless check in/out (must pick up keys from Front Desk), see menus, view recreation activities and more. 

Guest Rooms

  • Guest rooms will be prepared for your arrival with a focus on high frequency touch points.

  • All guest handouts (maps, folios, menus, etc.) will be emailed to guests or available on our Sherwood Inn app.

  • Stayover housekeeping service is not currently being offered to limit physical distancing. 

  • Additional amenities, towels, etc. will be delivered on request to your guest room.

  • Stayover service will be offered starting May 17, 2022 and will include:

    • Beds made​

    • Vacuum carpets (as required)

    • Wipe down counters​​

    • Remove garbage and recycling

    • Replace amenities and coffee

    • Replace towels left in tub or on floor


Food and Beverage

  • Masks are required until seated at your table and should you leave that table at any time.

Recreation and Other Services

  • Trails are open for fat biking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. When weather permits, there will also be an outdoor skating rink. 

  • The fitness room is closed.

  • The waterfront is open in summer with some restrictions, including limited sun chaise and chairs available.

  • Canoes, paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boats are available in summer. 

    • Including a self-serve sanitization station with instructions and contact information.

    • PFD’s (life jackets) will be provided. Limited PFD’s will be available for sale at the front desk.

  • The tennis court is available in summer. You must provide your own equipment.
