Muskoka’s steamship heritage is older than Canada. The first ship steamed Lake Muskoka in 1866. 2017 marked the amazing RMS Segwun’s, 130 year history. She is North America’s oldest operating mail steamship. Wenonah II, a modern interpretation of a traditional steamship, is named in honour of Wenonah, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka. An amazing experience. Before or after sailing, visit the Discovery Centre.
When staying at Sherwood Inn you have access to play championship golf at the Lake Joseph Club (705-765-2000), Rocky Crest Golf Club (705-375-4368) and Grandview's O'Meara Golf Course (705-788-9978). We recommend booking tee times prior to arrival to avoid disappointment.
