The COVID-19 Pandemic changed the way we travel - and as a result, we modified the way we welcomed guests. Sherwood Inn is proud to be recognized by the The World Travel and Tourism Council, and the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario with the 2021 Safe Travels Stamp Award for Tourism Region 12. The Safe Travels Stamp Award is a way for customers to recognize the health and hygiene protocols their favourite Ontario businesses in the tourism industry implemented to contain the spread of COVID-19. The public voted for their favourite Safe Travels Stamp operator this past fall, and that lead to one winner from each of the 13 Tourism Regions in Ontario. With Sherwood Inn located in Ontario's 12th Tourism Region, that meant all hospitality and tourism businesses in the Muskoka, Parry Sound, Loring-Restoule, Almaguin Highlands, Algonquin Park and South Algonquin area were eligible to be voted upon - and Sherwood Inn collected the most votes. We're honoured to be recognized by our industry leaders and past guests with such an important accolade - the safety of our guests and staff is paramount here at Sherwood Inn. The protocols and precautions we've put in place are designed to keep everyone on our property safe; from staying up-to-date with provincial guidance, to continually updating and following our Standard Operating Procedures document; we've built systems that work to ensure everybody who visits our property has a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
